    Unanswered: Fill in part of forms automatically

    I have a database that I want to do a pull down on the customer name and click the customer that I want and it will fill in the field of address, city, State, Zip and phone automatically. I have tried to do it with code and had no luck. Can some one help me please? Here is the databased attached.

    Need Access 97 ....

    I don't have latest version so if you can put access 97 versoin of your database.

    OR

    You can simply use dlookup to fill ur value.

    example: ( you can use something like followng in your control source)

    =DLookUp("[field1]","tbl_invoice","[invoice] = '" & [invoice] & "'")

    Soup,

    I feel you have your tables setup wrong. I would have my customers in a tblCustomer invoices in tblInvoice and invoice details in tblInvoices.

    You should have a look at Northwind database. What you want is One Customer - Many Invoices - each Invoice many details.
