    Post Unanswered: User Synonyms/ Permissions HELP

    I just restored an oracle db. I have two sets of objects. User1 has permissions for the first group of objects; User2 has permission for the second group. How can i get User2 to have permissions to ALL the objects that User1 has permissions to?

    Thank you!

    Query ALL_TAB_PRIVS to see what privileges User1 has, and use the data to construct GRANT statements:

    select 'grant '||privilege||' on '||table_schema||'.'||table_name||' to user1;'
    from all_tab_privs
    where grantee='USER2'

    Spool them to a file, then edit and run the file as a SQL Plus script.
