I seem to have run into a problem creating a windows service for replication since we installed FixPack2 to our UDB V8.1 server. Here is the scenerio....

There was a work around with Fixpack1 where you had to use the instance name DB2-0 when creating the service. so for example the statement would look like this...

ASNSCRT -A DB2-0 .\<user_ID> <password> -START asnapply CONTROL_SERVER=<name> APPLY_QUAL=<name>

This would work fine as stated in the documentation. Since then we have installed FixPack2 and it appears things have changed. When I use that same command, it doesn't recognize the DB2-0 as a valid instance anymore. So I tried using the DB2 which is the actual instance name. It will create the service ok but I can't actually start the service up. When I try to start it up, it gives me the following error...

Could not start DB2-DB2 <Service name> service on Locla Computer
Error 1075 The dependency service does not exsist or has been marked for deletion.

Any suggestions would be appreciated..
