sopen file g:\insrepl\ins_5050000000007\cos_002.4j failed: Permission denied
    Error adding operation to message
    Sending messages interrupted

Can anyone tell me why i get a permission denied error.

There is no security on the specified folder.
The file it askes for cos_002.4j does not exist.

Does this mean that the rest of the relication is interrupted aswell.

    Hope to hear from somebody.

Is this running as a service (System Account) and the G: drive is a network share? If so the System Account will not be able to access it, permissions or not.

Run the service using a domain account.

    Red face

All accounts in use are domain accounts.

G is a share to a local folder which is shared for everyone.

    Do you have anymore options?

    Hope you can help me.

    Kind regards,

But is SQL Remote running as a service? Accessing a network share, even if it's a local folder is going to require the service to run with a domain account.

Is it possible to get SQL remote to use the local folder directly?

    Talking

    Hello Richard,

I created a new database for this user.

As you can see below, Everything works fine again.
There is a 3 way replication overhere.

One database replicates with a second database and this second database replicates with about 10 alike databases.

9 out of ten were not having problems with the place were the files where put only one of them was.
So the best thing i could do was replace his database with a new one and i seems to have worked.

Thnx for your time and help.

    Kind regards.

    Erik van der Groef.
