Question Unanswered: Truncate table in a stored procedure

    Hello,

I'm converting a Sybase stored procedure to DB2.

There are "truncate table" statements within the stored procedure. I know that there is no "truncate table" in DB2. Is it any way to make it as if it is doing "truncate table" action?

    Many thx!!

Re: Truncate table in a stored procedure

I think, using Not Logged Initially, NLI for short, is the best option you have to 'truncate' a table inside a SP in db2 ....

As grofaty, please read the 'Must Read Before Posting' thread ..
