    Unanswered: Default values not taking

I am trying to set a coupld eof default values on a form, and it won't take the changes. Any idea on why this is happening? I am using access 2000. Thanks.

    need more info

If u set a default value on a field at the table level you should see that value on the form when you goto add a new record.

ideas about what? Is the default value for the field set at the table level

is the form tied to the table directly?

If the answer to both of these are yes and there are is no special formatting on the form for these fields or for the recordset, without question you should see the default values in the fields when you add a record.

    ok, i'll check this out

I'll check the form and make sure it isn't tied to a query, but tied to the table instead. Thanks.
