Unanswered: frequency of a db2 job can be less than 1 hour?

i have a job in DB2 v7.2 (fp8,win 2k server) and it should run every other 10 minutes. However, when i use control center to deploy the job,I find the least frequency is 1 hour . I want to know,is the job's frequency can be set less than 1 hour? and how?

    thank you!

    Hi,

I have found that out too, I think that this is somekind of limitation of DB2 scheduler.

    Hope this helps,

I figure out an alternative way. That is, deploy 4-5 same jobs ,and their intervals are all 1 hour, and the start time of each job should be set 15 or 10 minutes later after the previous one.
Though I haven't practise ,I think it can work.

    Hi,

You have to ask yourself if you have the best solution of executing the job every 10 minutes. What are you doing every 10 minutes?
This solution is probably not good for performance...
