    Unanswered: How to see the whole link?

    How can I se the whole link in the linked table manager? I'm not able to scroll or resize the window so I can see it.

    If I can't do this in Access, is there any good shareware tools that can do this?

    You can write it your own in a few lines of VBA-code.
    Let me take a quick shot...

    public sub ShowCons
    dim db as database
    dim td as tabledef
    dim i as integer

    set db=currentdb
    for i=0 to db.tabledefs.count-1
    set td=db.tabledefs(i)

    'and here it is what you are looking for:
    debug.print td.connect
    next i

    end sub

    Since I'm a novice to vb I don't know why I can't see anything.

    How can I get this info to the screen or to a file or table?

    Could anyone please help me?

    You don't know where to find the debug window? press ctrl-G
    Place this code in a new module and simply run it...
    Where exactly is your problem?

    I improved the code, so you just see the linked tables:

    Public Sub ShowCons()
    Dim db As Database
    Dim td As TableDef
    Dim i As Integer

    Set db = CurrentDb
    For i = 0 To db.TableDefs.count - 1
    Set td = db.TableDefs(i)

    'and here it is what you are looking for:
    If td.Connect <> "" Then
    Debug.Print "Tabellenname: " & td.Name & Chr(13) & "Verknüpfung: " & td.Connect
    End If
    Next i

    End Sub

    Tnx,

    I got it now. I've never used VB before so I can't find a thing there...
    Visual C++ on the other hand...

    I had solved the problem with a messagebox to show the links, thanks for the modified code. Now I'll try to make a table witch will contain all my links. I just run the function to fill it with links. Fun.
