Unanswered: Oracle Vs mysql at large number of rows in table

    hi techies,

For the same application (DB independent),same hardware configuration, same number of Rows in the table,

    1. Server connected Mysql Database have poor performance and Mysql uses 100 % CPU for increased no of rows in the table.

    2. Whereas Oracle gives better Performance with high number of rows in the table, and Oracle didnt use 100 % of CPU time also.

Note: For less nummber of Rows there is no significant difference between mysql and Oracle.

What is the reason for this ?

    Thank u
    jegan
