Red face Unanswered: transfer data returned by stored procedure to dbf by transferdatabase

    Hello all,

I have some problem i can't handle. I work on adp project connected to sql
server 2000. When i try to run command:

DoCmd.TransferDatabase acExport, "dBase IV", "C:\", acStoredProcedure,
    "sp_Invoices", "C:\Invoices.dbf", False

    or

DoCmd.TransferDatabase acExport, "dBase IV", "C:\", acServerView,
    "v_Invoices", "C:\Invoices.dbf", False

    i recive a message Can't find object v_Invoices.

    But command

    DoCmd.TransferDatabase acExport, "dBase IV", "C:\", acTable, "t_Invoices",
    "C:\Invoices.dbf", False

    works fine.

Anyone have idea what i can do to transfer data returned by stored procedure
or view to dBase database ?

    Thanks for help,

    Luke

Check the ownership on view v_Invoices. If it is not dbo owned and the ownership does not match the login you are using to connect, SQL Server will not allow your connection to even see that the view exists, resulting in the error you are getting.
