Red face Unanswered: There is insufficient result space to convert a money value to varchar

Receive this error when doing the following command:

    set @OutCustOStandV = convert( varchar(13), @OutCustOStandF,1 )

@OutCustOStandV is type is varchar(13) and @OutCustOStandF is type is money

    Can anyone help?

    cheers

    Simon

Just means that the value in your money variable won't fit in 13 chars (including commas). Just make the vachar bigger.

    declare @m money
    select @m = 11111111.1111
    select convert(varchar(13),@m,1)
    -------------
    11,111,111.11

    declare @m money
    select @m = 111111111.1111
    select convert(varchar(13),@m,1)
    Server: Msg 234, Level 16, State 2, Line 3
There is insufficient result space to convert a money value to varchar.
