Unanswered: Converting date/time in query to just date.

    Hi there,
Newbie question here. I was wondering how to convert a date/time field to just date in a query? The table lists both data/time but I need only date.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ian

"convert" is problematic: an access date is an 8-byte floating point number - left of the decimal point is d/m/y and right is fractional days = time.

you can format any box in a form or report to show just the date part of a date.time

Do you want to display the computer current date without the time/clock? if so, use the function Date() . I think that's what your asking.
