    Question Unanswered: How to access another database which is in the same instance?

    I have created 2 database within the same instance: dbA & dbB. And I also created a table(t1) in dbA.
    How can I select the feilds of t1 from dbB?

    Update the cross-database table in the same instance............

    I would like to ask if it is possible to use the record of table(t1) in dbA to insert into the table(t1) in dbB in the sql statement level(only one connection)?(both dbs are in the same instance of DB2 server)

    the similar sql statement in Sybase is:
    insert into dbB.schemas.t (col1,col2) select col1,col2 from dbA.schemas.t1 where...
