Unanswered: Corrupted 97 Database
I have desinged a database on my old pc in Access 97.
I am now trying to open the database in Access 2000 on a different pc, there is an error message "an error occured while loading Form_SaleItemsSubForm. Do you want to continue loading the project?"
If I say yes or no there is an error message "The Visual Basic for Applications project in the database is corrupt". I cannot get any further.
This happens if I choose to convert to 2000 or not.
Please can you advise?
try to convert, and see if you get any result file....
if yes, open converted file, and than go to design of the form or a module....
you need to be in module(code) screen to do compile - open debug menu, select compile....
this will lead you to corrupted bit...
also you need to check references from the same window - tools -> references, maybe you should do this first....
Thanks for this,
unfortunately no file is created at all
I can still get back to the original version on 97 which runs with no errors so maybe I could try it on there?
