Question Unanswered: How to recover username, organisation and workgroup ID?

Hi. I have some problems occuring with my microsoft access 97..

The problem is I backup my microsoft access 97 MDB file to another computer and I forgot to backup the mdw file. Now, the mdw file is gone.

There is an error prompting "There was the error excuting the command" whenever I tried to access the data.

Is there any way to crack the username, organisation and workgroup ID or break the link so that the mdb file will not refer to mdw file to gain access to the data?

Please help me. Thank you very much.

    you have two options:

    - you can recreate mdw by running that workgroup admin and typing in same info as when you created original, workgroup ID, organization, it's all case sensitive....

    - find a tool that breaks into database, but not just password, security file....

    good luck....

Hmm.. Thanks a lot. But, I do not have the information of the Username, organisation and workgroup ID. Is finding tools to break into database the only way?
