    Unanswered: Query to an Array?

    I am trying to Query an Access DB in VB and I want to write the results to an array....any thoughts?

    open recordset based on your query, go through it and add one by one records of the query to the array....

    or you can just open the recordset and forget the array i haven't yet found aything that an array does better than a recordset

    Thanks but do you guys know what the syntax for the query will look like? Right now I am using querytables.add and it requires me to write it to an Excel cell...???

    Sorry, I am working in Excel but wish to write a VB function that queries an exiting Access DB and stores the results in an array so that they can be manipulated and then shown in Excel

    If i were you i'd manipulate the data in access then move the data to excel otherwise you in for a more hassel than the jobs worth
