Unanswered: access to access page only, not table

In my database, I'm trying to make it so that a user may only edit the records of a table through a data access page (DAP), and not through the table itself. I know that this is already covered in the Access Security FAQ (Item 25), but I'm having a hard time understanding what it wants me to do (although this is a DAP, not a form, it does have OnActive and OnDeactive events). The Admin is the only one who should be able to edit records through the table, and everyone else would need to go through the DAP. Thanks for any help.

Btw, I don't care whether or not they can read the table contents, I just don't want them editing/entering new values from it.
