    Unhappy Unanswered: DB2 Personal Developer's Edition 8.1

    I downloaded the Personal Developer's Edition and it's claiming to
    expire in 90 days. I thought this wasn't a time-limited license?

    Re: DB2 Personal Developer's Edition 8.1

    It could be DB2 Connect ..

    Issue the command,
    db2licm -l

    and see what it says ..

    (Mine shows:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Sathyaram>db2licm -l
    Product Name = "DB2 Personal Edition"
    Product Password = "DB2PE"
    Version Information = "8.1"
    Expiry Date = "Permanent"
    Annotation = ""
    ther information = ""
    )

    Cheers

    mmm .. Strange ...

    On your extracted downloaded software, check for a file db2pe.lic ... It will be under PE\image\db2\licence ... If you have one, use the db2licm command (-a option) to add the license ...

    Cheers
