Please look at the message reference for your platform ..

The resource type 200 refers to TableSpace

    The reason code
    00C90097

Explanation: An attempt was made to allocate to a table space for update operations. However, the table space was marked as 'image copy' required, and updates are not allowed. This condition occurs as a result of any of the following:

Running a REORG LOG NO or LOAD LOG NO utility on the table space without running a copy that specifies FULL YES.

Execution of a RECOVER utility which specifies the TORBA or TOCOPY options, without following it with the required COPY utility.

Execution of a -TERM UTILITY command on a COPY utility that failed during the copy phase or was active in the copy phase. Until the COPY utility completes, SQL updates are not allowed because the the integrity of the data would be compromised.

Execution of a MODIFY utility after all back up copies of the table space or data set were deleted from the SYSCOPY catalog table.

    Satyaram,

Which platform did this error occur on?

How can it be looked up? I looked it up in the message reference for unix and it indicatted that we should check the problem determination guide for MVS. It will help to know.

    Thanks in advance.

That error is on os390 ...

    For documentation, you start with

    http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/d...0/library.html

BTW, the error message you looked up , I believe is of DB2 Connect ... But original poster's has happened on OS/390 (The output looks like SPUFI's )

Well I guess my question is if a container ran out of space in unix while the table was trying to load/insert data, would this result in a 904?

Also, I don't think the error is a db2connect error - it's the 0900-0999 range of errors and the first 4 deal with commit/processing errors.
