    Question Unanswered: The Wild character % is not considering while searching Arabic data in ACCESS.

    Hi Friends,

    Anybody knows, how can we pattern search in Arabic data on an Access table. for eg:

    The follwing SQL having Pattern searching is not working:

    Select speech from tbl_speech where speech like '%';

    I still belive, there should be some way for the pattern searching.

    Thanks in Advance

    Hi Friend,

    Thanks a lot. Now I realised that there is no special things for arabic data searching by SQL.

    The real confussion was just because of the change over of wildcard characters between DAO to ADO. In ADO we have to use %, which was earlier * in the case of DAO. and for ? used in DAO, we have to use _.

    Anyway thanks.
