    Unanswered: viewing ole object

    i'm using access 97. i want to view an ole object in its numerical form, at the moment "long binary data" is displayed in the fields. i've been told to use the GetChunk method but entirely sure how this works. is this the best method or r there other ways? cheers for ne advice

    GetChunk is the only method in DAO to get the contents; get into the DAO RecordSet methods for the syntax and examples. Using ADO, the syntax and behaviour of GetChunk changed, but still yuou use this method. However, ADO lets you also use the Value property of that field.
