    Unhappy Unanswered: Corrupt Database

Our central database was corrupted. The backup server was load from dumps of central database. Dbcc checkdb and checkalloc was ran on database. There was no errors.

To bring up our central database, we have two options
    1. Drop corrupt database. Load central database from backup server dumps.
    OR
    2. Uninstall Sybase then install Sybase. Load central database from backup server dumps.

Ran dbcc checkdb and checkalloc on central database. The database were master, model, sybsystemprocs, & tempdb. The other depend is that another application may have to be reinstalled. There may be a bad device where translog reside (can we configure the translog without install).

    Any suggestions?
