    Unanswered: More on Different user startup forms.

    Ok, I have managed to dig up a few things and have assumed that there must be a way using the if, then else statements....

    ie. "if user is admin then show formxxxx else show form zzzz"

    I need help with the code if it can be done.

    As I have said, I am a newbie to databases. I have been thrown in at the deep end (as usual) and I do need some arm bands before my legs start to tire.

    Does anyone know Access CPR?

    Cheers,

    Iceman

    Pick the default startup form that you would want all users to see,
    and put that one in your Tools... Startup... Display Form

    Then, in that forms OnOpen event, put some code like this:

    If CurrentUser()="Admin" then
    Docmd.Openform "AnotherForm"
    'keep the default form from opening
    Cancel = True
    End if
