    Unanswered: Blob

I am using DB2 Version 7.2 on Sun Solaris. I have a problem accessing the BLOB fields in my database on some machines. I get an error

SQL0351N An unsupported SQLTYPE was encountered in position 3 of output SQLDA (select list).

where position 3 is the position of the BLOB field. I get this error in the DB2 Client. Any idea How to solve this?

probably you use the wrong JNDI driver.
    Inshure, you included

    /opt/IBMdb2/V7.1/java12/db2java.zip

with your app. (The path may vary though ...)

You need to bind two packages on the server

db2 bind @db2ubind.lst blocking all grant public
db2 bind @db2cli.lst blocking all grant public

    then it works
