    Property Management schema

    Hello,

I am stuck on the following issue. I am currently designing schema for a student property management firm. (MySQL database)

I have this concept in my head.

One property can have multiple units.
One unit can have multiple rooms.

I am stuck on how the relationship should work
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    Property (one) - Property_Units (many)

    Property_Units (one) - Property_Unit_Rooms (many)

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to create this relationship between the tables. Any ideas/suggestions are welcome.

    Thank you

You might find this Data Model of Real Estate Properties interesting :-

It shows Units and Rooms on the right hand side, linked to Properties.
