    Unanswered: How is TSIZE determined in Reorgchk

    Hi!
    I'm new to DB2 and am working with Reorgchk. Can anyone tell me how the value for TSIZE is determined? I've looked in the syscat tables, but can't figure it out!

    CREATOR NAME CARD OV NP FP TSIZE F1 F2 F3 REORG
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    DB2INST1 TESTTABLE 48 0 2 2 3072 0 76 100 ---

    F1: 100 * OVERFLOW / CARD < 5
    F2: 100 * TSIZE / ((FPAGES-1) * (TABLEPAGESIZE-76)) > 70
    F3: 100 * NPAGES / FPAGES > 80

    Thanks!

    NPAGES is 2, TSIZE is 3072. My Pagesize is 4096. I assume it's based on Avgcollen from syscat.indexes. But even when I multiply avgcollen*card, it's close, but not the same. (off by a couple avgcollen, but it varies).

    Thanks!

    Thanks jodie .... seems to be ...

    Well, if you are interested to know the details REORGCHK collects for the system catalog tables, use the dynamic SQL snapshot ...

    I just did one, and seems an interesting thing to study

    Cheers

    I have seen the following definition of TSIZE somewhere (I have no idea if it's true) but you could try and see if it seems to calc correctly:

    TSIZE = T.CARD * (C.AVGCOLLEN + 10)
