    Unanswered: The future of DAO

    Is Microsoft going to remove DAO from MS Access in the future ??

    Is it a must to migrate to ADO in the future ??

    I can't imagine it going as long as the JET engine is still supported.

    Dit M$ removed DOS? Keeping DOS alive was, in my opinion, THE success factor of Windows. No revolution, but evolution.

    Are people still developing applicaitons in DOS? I know nobody.

    So, if I was you, I'd start today to become familar with ADO, maybe you skip this generation and start with ADO.NET!
