Question Unanswered: New to using SQL with Oracle

    Hi,
I am very new to using SQL with Oracle. I have been using SQL to write queries for over 2 years, but have never had to use Oracle with it.

Could someone please tell me where I could find some quick tutorials on converting SQL to Oracle. I have a project I have to have done before 09/05/2003. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Wink What´s about the standard documentation

    Hello,

that´sounds strange but I think that all you need is the standard documentation from Oracle. Everything important is explained in this paper. But if you have detailed problems
    just post the here.
    More great sides are
    www.orafaq.net
    www.dbaclick.com
    www.oracle.com (Ask TOM)

When you know SQL there is no problem to start with you development.

Just another hint: Use AlligatorSQL to test you SQL against the database
you are familiar with. And then change the connection to Oracle and try again.
The supported databases ar Oracle8i/9i, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL, Interbase, PostgreSQL, Birdstep and in version 1.12 Ingres.

Hope this information was helpful for you ?

    Best regards
