    Unanswered: spool off command

    Hello there,

    Can anyone help me to use " spool off " in procedure using forms.....?

    something like this...

    BEGIN

    Cursor......

    Condition here....

    Put the result in a file....

    spool file_201.lst;
    select * from filename
    where ...;
    spool off;


    END;

    SPOOL is a SQL Plus command, it doesn't work in Forms, or indeed from within PL/SQL at all. In Forms, there is a package called TEXT_IO for opening and writing to files on the client.
