Unhappy Unanswered: Access .adp-file: How to update records??

    Hi!

Having spent what seems to be an eternity trying to solve this myself I now turn this resort: Posting my inner problems!

Here goes: I'm using an Access .adp as a front end to a MSSQL2K-server. This works fine when it comes to retrieving data, but alas I can't seem to find an easy way to let the users of the .adp update records in the tables of the server. The ideal solution would be a form shown as datasheet allowing users to edit records just as if they had opened an ordinary access table.

Is this at all possible? ...Or do I have to code every thing from (more or less) scratch?

    Thanks!

This is a problem faced by developers new to access project and SQL server. You cannot edit a table in sql server without a primary key. Try adding a primary key to the table you want to edit.

If this is not the problem let me know.
