    Unanswered: get column width

    Hi all,

How can I get a column's width via the command line? I've been searching for this for the past hour and couldn't seem to find an answer.

    Thanks,

    Anson Lau

another way is to look in the catalog. I.e.

    select * from syscat.columns where tabname = ? [and tabschema = ?]
