Hi,

I tried to query sysobjects to determine lock schema for all user tables and system tables.
I use the bitmask 8192, 16384 and 32768 for user tables. While 16384 and 32768 for system tables. But the result was not as expected.

When I run this SQL:
select name,type,sysstat2 from sysobjects where type='S'

Got:
name type sysstat2
------------------------------ ---- -----------
sysobjects S 0
sysindexes S 0
syscolumns S 0
systypes S 0
sysprocedures S 0
syscomments S 0
syssegments S 0
syslogs S 512
sysprotects S 0
sysusers S 0
sysalternates S 512
sysdepends S 512
syskeys S 0
sysgams S 512
sysusermessages S 0
sysreferences S 0
sysconstraints S 512
systhresholds S 0
sysroles S 512
sysattributes S 0
syspartitions S 512
systabstats S 229888
sysstatistics S 229376
sysxtypes S 229376
sysjars S 229376

I think this is strange, because some of the tables have sysstat2=0 and 512.

Anyone know why and what this means ?

regards
