    Unanswered: date_format?

    hi,

    how can i format date in the format i want?
    i want to do something like this:
    select invoice#, amount from invoice where invoiceDate >= date_format(31/08/2003, "dd/MM/yyyy")

    i am using vb to connect to paradox that is y i need to contruct sql statement into something like this.

    If you mean the default date display, it is a BDE setting.

    MODE: Controls the order of the month, day, and year components. Set it to
    0 : (for MDY)
    1 : (for DMY)
    2 : (YMD)

    You can also set up leading zero's and four digit year in the BDE setting.

    Access via control panel.

    If you only need to format the date on the fly then the command would be:
    format("DO(%D/%M/%Y)",da)

    Place the DMY in the desired order.
