    Arrow Unanswered: Oracle Users

I wanted to know few fundamentals things regarding oracle users.
I read that when the DB is created, SYS and SYSTEM are created automatically.
In order to store password files, you use the command orapwd. The entries in this file limit the number of SYSDBA or SYSOPER users.

I wanted to know where do the users which do not become to either schema have their entries. Like in UNIX, all entries to the passwd and shadow file in /etc. How does it work in Oracle ?

Your response would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanx and Regards

before that you would still need to set remote_login_passwordfile = EXCLUSIVE in order to log in as any sysdba from outside the host box.

from there you can query tables to find out who is added on as a sysdba.
