Unanswered: Blank cell in numeric field

    Hi there,
I have an access dbase that has blank cells in a numeric field. When I export the data to dbf format the blank cells are replaced with zeros (which i dont want). How do I prevent this? Is there a way I can replace the blank cells in access with something else otehr than zero?

    Please help, I am desparate.

before exporting your data you could call a VBA function which use the "IsNull" method to test the cells ... In case of the response is 'true' , choose the value you want to be written.
