    Unanswered: Sqlstate S1t00 (time Out)

    WHY I GET ALWAYS THIS ERROR?
    iI am using MSSQL 2000 in Intel P4 with 256 MB hd 60gb
    2.8 mhz in a Stand alone machine. (out of Net)

    Reading a TXT file and Inset in a table 30.000 record
    around record 20.000 , Sql begins to Sent this Error.
    Does anybody here knows why ?

    sounds like it's data-related. You'll have to investigate how the data up to 20K is different from the one that results in error. Also, are you using BCP, BULK INSERT, or DTS? In other words, tell us a little bit more

    i changed in Enterprise manager Tools/Options /query timeout to 5 (default is 0) and now is working fine.

    by the way i am using Netcobol for .NET by Fujtisu
    (www.adtools.com) using ODBC SQL

    the program with this error its a Convertion Porgrams
    that reads a TXT file and use INSERT sql statement
    to populate the database.
