    Unanswered: Email Current Record from a Form

    I have a form and I want to email the current record in the message of an outlook email.

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks

    mailing the form view is not going to happen easily.

    you could make a report that looks a lot like your form and reports only the current record and save it as .SNP and attach the .SNP to a mail.

    alternative: get your current record into a string somehow. crude example:
    aString = "aCaption: " & aTextBox.value & vbcrlf & "anotherCaption: " & anotherTextBox.value '& so on
    toWhom = "fred@globalmail.not"

    you can find a (ego!!! my) generalised mailer at
    http://dbforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=889998
    but dozens of alternative approaches to mailing are on this site.

    with my mailer, the call is:

    if not izyMailer(False, toWhom, "My Mail Subject", aString) then
    msgbox "Oooops! Mail not sent.", vbinformation, "izyMailer error!"
    end if
