Unanswered: What is JDBC URL for connecting to informix server using ipcshm?

    Hi,
I know the JDBC URL for connecting to informix server using tcpip.
Could you please tell me what is the syntax for ipcshm connectivity.
I am in urgent need. Can any one can help me?

    Hi Narender,

If Java this running in the same server who then Informix, changes the
    environment variables.
If non test with stream-pipe (ipcstr) instead of ipcshm.
This service must be defined in the file /etc/services and sqlhosts file.

    Gustavo,
Thanks for the reply. But I didn't get the actual information.

The following URL is for connecting to informix server over tcp/ip.

    jdbc:informix-sqli:dbserver_name_or_iport/dbname:informixserver=ifx_server_name

I want the URL sysntax for connecting to informix server over ipcshm where there will not be required port number etc., stuff.
