Angry Unanswered: Problem with DTS scheduleted job in SQL7

    Hi!
I have to transform data from SQL 7 to MySQL and I use the DTS for this task. This DTS consists of the 15 transform data tasks. There are different counts of records in the tables which are transformed. Some tables have only about 100 records, but some 30000 – 80000 records.
The problem is when I execute this DTS by scheduler as job. It doesn’t transform all records form tables with large count of records and DTS’s log file is empty! If I execute job of the DTS, which is composed of only one or two transform data tasks from tables with 30000 records, then job occurs correctly and log file is filled.

However, when I execute this DTS form the SQL Server Enterprise Manager console, all is OK absolutely!

There is feeling that some timeout interrupts a connection with out any error!

    Is there some recommendations?

You can try SQLyog at http://www.webyog.com . It has a pretty powerful ODBC Import Wizard.

A tutorial on this can be found at http://www.devshed.com
