    Hi...

Does anyone know how to select a record (DblClick) from a datasheet and show that information to another form..

(I have a form with the Default View property set as Datasheet and I'm displaying a course information, I need that the selected info. updates in another form ...)

In VB I used a dbgrid and it was very easy.. but I dont know how to do it in access..

Thanks.. any other way to do it.. can help..

    Regards,

Re: Select record from a datasheet and display in another form

    Try this:

    Private Sub Form_DblClick(Cancel As Integer)
    MsgBox Me.ID
    End Sub

where the form has as record source a table with a field called ID.

Instead of MsgBox Me.ID you can do any processing.
(pay attention that the double click is working when performed away from the fields area - you can double click for example the Record Selector area).
