1 ) From the application program development guide I find that if I use C with embedded SQLs on windows then I cannot access result sets returned from the called stored procedures. To access the result set I have to use CLI

2) However, I found an example of a C program which calls a stored procedure and accesses the result sets by associating locators with the procedure, allocating a cursor and fetching the cursor. This example is meant for OS/390. Does this mean that I can access the result sets from the C program using embedded SQL and do not have to use the CLI.

Does anyone know if there is a way of accessing result sets returned from a stored procedure to a C program without using CLI.

Any help will be much appreciated.
