    Unanswered: Converting DB2 database to SQL tables

    Hi all

    This converting DB2 database into SQL tables possible?
    Does anyone know how to do it?

    Also any documentation available?

    I just need to know whether i can convert a DB2 table to a SQL table. And is there method to go by?

    You mean SQL Server Tables ...

    I assume there will be a migration toolkit supplied with SQL Server or available for free download from M$ site, if you want to migrate your application databases ..

    Or another tool available for migration(costs you dollars) is sqlways ..

    Earlier it was a shareware/freeware called Chyfo ...

    If it is only for a few tables, I'm sure you can use db2look to extract db2 ddl and manually modify it to SQL Server ...

    SQL stands for Structured Query Language which was invented by IBM and is part of all relational DBMS's (and even some non-relational DBMS's). MS SQL Server is the name of the product.
