Question Unanswered: Problem with VB Secured project

    Hi.

I'm not able to import forms or reports into my database when it is password protected. Does anybody have any idea how to overrule this?
(I don’t want the end user to gain access to the VB password)

What I really like to do is to protect my application by converting it to MDE. But then, for sure, I loose the possibility of importing forms and reports (which is an essential part of my application)

the simple code I'm using to import a form:

    Private Sub Import_Click()

    DoCmd.TransferDatabase acImport, "Microsoft Access", _
    "E:\DATA\TEST.mdb", acForm, "frm-ExportForm", _
    "frm-ImportedForm"

    End Sub

    thanks for any advice.

If the Base of Data is guardianship you can not update least that income your password
An idea can was divide the base of data in two bases:

1 ) Base of Data with the tables

2 ) Base of Data with the forms, query
    macros, ....etc

3 ) Link the Base 2 with the Base 1

4 ) Create Base MDE of the Base 1

    5 ) Guardianship the Base 2 MDB

6 ) The end user work from the Base.MDE

    Hi Norberto

Thanks for your reply but I'm not sure if I understand.
I have already divided the main database and the data database (tables)
But that was not my aim, I need to import forms and reports into a VB secured database.
The reason for this is that I have a standard application and need to frequently update tailor made forms and reports.
