Red face Unanswered: Password when opening a blank Access database

Hi, I am using Access 97. When I am opening access and trying to open a blank database I am being asked for a username and password. Is there any "Application-wide" security? I know there is database-specific security settings, but is there an application wide security?

My goal is to turn this off so that I can open Access without being asked for logon information.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    ALD35
