    what is Data Source="MyOraDb" stand for ... How/Where can I get the datasource name.
    .
    Connect using ConnectionString
    Dim con As New ADODB.Connection
    con.ConnectionString = "Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;Data Source=MyOraDb;" & _

    Oracle is something different from other server.

    1. use 'net manager' setup a local net service for the remote server
    2. use the local net service as the datasource name
    ..
    that it is.
