do you mean make a graph in excel and load it with perl or make a graph with perl that looks like an excel graph or make a graph with perl that can be loaded with excel?

    thanks for reply.

actually, i have an excel worksheet, which contains some data.
for this what i want is i will write a perl script, which will read this data from excel and create the graph.

    thanks.

Why don't you define the graph in Excel directly?

If you need to update the source data, create the graph in a separate sheet that loads the data when opening the graph sheet.

I frequently do this, source data is collected by perl scripts and then put into .csv files which are easy for Excel to read. The file is read upon opening the sheet and the graph is updated.
