Unanswered: DB2 build-in Packages with isolation level RS

    Hi friends,
I am using DB2 v8.1, when I create database, some build-in packages are already bound for me (i.e. packages with schema NULLID), but I found that some of these packages are in isolation level RS, e.g. SYSSN300, coz of that, I experience deadlock when I execute dynamic SQL, can I rebind these packages with isolation CS so that deadlock can be minizied, thx.

Re: DB2 build-in Packages with isolation level RS

If you are running dynamic sql and want a specific Isolation for the statement use WITH <Isolation>

select * from table1 with UR

UR - for uncommitted read .. You can also use UR, RR, RS and CS
