    Unanswered: Problems with decimal data type data in db2 8.1 + warehouse problem

    Hi,

    I tried to populate the data from Warehouse source "DB2 for Windows", "DB2 for Linux/S390" and from "DB2 for VSE". Populating works fine for all the tables except for tables witch have decimal data type column definition. I got error message:

    -- error message --

    DWC07356E An agent's processing of a command of type
    "fetchAndInsertX" failed for edition "105788" of step
    "IZDELKI".
    [IBM][CLI Driver] CLI0112E Error in assignment.
    SQLSTATE=22005[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0902C A system
    error (reason code = "13") occurred. Subsequent SQL statements
    cannot be processed. SQLSTATE=58005
    RC = 7356 RC2 = 8535
    -- end of error message --

    I think it is somekind of code page error. Am I doing something wrong or is somekind of bug?

    P.S.: I can't install the db2 8.1 fp3 because I get the JDBC error using the IBM DB2 OLAP Analyzer 8.1 product. With db2 8.1 fp2 Analyzer works fine.

    My system:
    - Windows 2000 Professional Service pack 4
    - Control Panel | Regional settings: Slovenian!!!
    - DB2 UDB Workgroup Server Edition 8.1 fixpack 2 on Windows
    - Warehouse Center witch is emembled in DB2

    Thanks,
    Grofaty

    Re: Problems with decimal data type data in db2 8.1 + warehouse problem

    Hi,

    I have also the same problem with warehouse(except regional setting is turkish). Did you find a solution to this problem?

    Strange thing in my problem is it was working for at least 10 days without any problem. And one day process didn't run but there was no specific change on the system.

    I'm trying to export-load for handling this problem but it takes too much time for each table.

    Please send me if you could find any piece of information.

    Regards,

    Salih Tilkici

    Hi,

    I have reported the PMR for this problem.

    If the problem is not urgent then you can wait for fixpack 5 (for db2 v8). This problem will be solved in fixpack 5.

    For Windows they developed the hotfix. If the problem is urgent you shoud contact the IBM support. They will give you access to download hotfix.

    Please don't mail me to send you a hotfix, because I just can't, because this is IBM confidentiall. IBM has to give you access to this hotfix.

    But before you contact the IBM be sure that DB2 reports exactly the same "CLI0112E" error. If the error is different then this hotfix will not help you.

    Hope this helps,
