    Exclamation Unanswered: Please help! Converting to 7.0 from 2000

    How can I convert database from SQL Server 2000 to SQL 7.0

    I don't know of any utilities, your best bet may be to use DTS and try to copy the objects (hoping that you are not using any SQL2K) specific items.

    Alternative would be to script the database and execute the script on SQL 7.0 (while checking for errors due to sql2k features not supported in SQL 7), Then once you have the database in place, either use bulk copy to export, and import the data, or again, use DTS.

    There may be some third party software available, but I don't know of any.
