i was wondering...
we have tables in unicode with feilds char(16).
when i write in english averything is ok, and i can really get in it 16 characters.
when i write in hebrew i can get in there only 8 characters.
i know unicode catches 2 bytes, but still, i don't think it's rational, that if i write in one language it really uses all the spcae, and in other it uses only half of it.
it doesn't make sense that i should double all the feilds for the hebrew. char(16) is supposed to be able to hold 16 characters. never mind what language it is. no ?
